Jewelry Bowls

Just a quick, easy tip for organizing all those jewels.
Put em in bowls.  I especially like how they draped the earings over the edge of the bowl.
It's a great way to make sure all your necklaces don't get tangled.
And it's cute, too!

To The Moon Baby Shower

I'm a little bit in love with this baby shower.
What a cute theme, right!?  I love the book this is based on.
Ane the way she carried the theme here is just so perfect.
Don't you love those little moons on the cupcakes, and the colors, and the paper stars!?
Love.
A perfect little cake.
The table looks great, doesn't it?
Cute and simple decorations.
I just love the way it all looks together!!!
My favorite part is definitely these little bottles of moon dust.  Aren't those little metal tags precious!?
Cute as a decoration,
And they make a really cute take home gift, too!
Even the cookies are adorable!  Seriously!
Don't you just love the way it all looks!!?
I love how the food is all labeled to fit the theme, too.  Star dusted donuts - Ah!
A-Dorable!
Just so stinkin cute!!
Are you not amazed!?

My Latest Bow Frames

I sell a lot of these bow frames.  They're pefect for storing all things girly, you just clip bows to the ribbons.  Anyway, recently I had a customer approach me with a new idea.  She wanted a fabric panel on the back of her bow frames.  I really like the way these turned out!
It was fun to have just one more element involved.
The fabric really makes them POP!
She wanted three different frames, but just wanted them to coordinate, not match, so I had a lot of fun with that, too!
But, this last one was by far my favorite of the three.
I love the way it turned out - even though it was totally by accident.  I spray painted it when it was too cold, so it went on all lumpy.
So, I sanded all the lumps out, with plans to re-paint it.  But, when I was finished, I kinda liked the antique look.
So I left it. :)
Here they are all together.  I think they'll be so cute on the wall!!
If you're interested, I sell these on Etsy at {Little Craft Shoppe}

Lovely Laundryrooms

I just really love the shelving in this laundry room.  I love how custom it is.  And how the everyday items are so proudly displayed on them.  Like detergent in that pretty clear canister, and the iron, and sponges, and scrubbers...  Also love the clock.  And the painted paneling on the wall.  Love.
Aren't those hooks so cute!?  I am just really loving the movement urging us to make our laundry rooms pretty spaces.  Love the shelf with all the pretty vases and boxes...and that mirror.  The old sink is cool, too.
This space is really functional.  Especially for those of us who have a lot of items that can't be machine dried.  Those fold-out hangers are a genius use of space.  Love the crown molding and all the floor space.  Plus, another pretty laundry detergent display.  I'm in love with those glass canisters!
This room is just adorable!  I love those huge tin baskets up top.  Also, the sorting bin...in French...  And again, those pretty canisters holding useful things.  I would love an ironing board that huge.  Plus, this room has another ingenius fold out drying rack.
What a pretty space!  Laundry rooms are too often built without windows.  The light in this room is amazing!  I also love all that counters space!!
Here's another with those magnificent windows!  It's like having a window in front of the kitchen sink.  When you can see out, you don't mind being there quite so much.  I love the baskets in this room, and the little lamp lights.  Those are adorable.  I also love the huge farmhouse sink with the open storage underneath.  And notice this room has two washers and two dryers.  Wouldn't THAT be nice!
I honestly don't know if this is a laundry room or a bathroom.  I think it could work as either.  I'm loving the bright white and the wainscotting on the wall.  The pop of color in those flowers is fun.
This room has been a long time favorite of mine.  I love front loading washers.  Not only do they get your clothes cleaner, they look cuter, and they allow counterspace to sit on top of them.  I love counterspace in laundry rooms.  It makes it so much easier to fold clothes!  This room has pretty storage for everyday things as well.  Love those red containers onthe counter.  I also like the rolling sorting bins.  I'm loving the painted panelled walls in here, and my favorite part might be those jumbo clothes pins haning on the wall.  I gotta get me some of those!

Black Ruffle Top

Here's another great idea from {Welcome to the Good Life}!  You can buy those ruffles - already made at craft/fabric stores.  Just sew em onto a shirt in loop-de-loops and you're done!  I love the way it looks, and how much it dresses up an otherwise plain jane t-shirt.

DIY Front Facing Bookshelf

For a while I've been obsessing over these front facing bookshelves.  I've posted about them {here} and {here} and now, I've found a tutorial. :)
Using these materials.
It seems simple enough.

I just love the practicality of these!  Kids can actually put books away on shelves like these, because it's a lot easier.  Plus, they can see the books which makes them more inclined to read them.
The full tutorial is at {Poppies at Play}

Little Miss Momma's Necklace

Aren't you just in love with this!!?  I am.
Little Miss Momma made it using the above supplies.
step1: cut out 5 felt circles
step2: cut out 8 fabric circles for each felt circle.
step3: pinch the center of the fabric circles.
step4: hot glue them to the felt circles.
step5: aren't they pretty!?
step6: glue 3 flowers to a big piece of felt in a "u" formation.
step7: get a chain and make it the right length for this necklace.
step8: glue the chain to the 2 flowers left.
step9: add those flowers to the top of the "u" formation.
step10: cut away the felt, so the edges are hidden beneath the flowers.
step11: admire.
I just made one for myself using an old tshirt, an old chain, and some felt.  It took about an hour and I love it.  This idea is so darling!!  I can't wait to make more. :)
Visit {Little Miss Momma} for all the details.
ps- I'm totally in love with her shirt, too. :)
