Healthy Valentines

I really love this idea from {Twig and Thistle}
The little stickers say: "Orange you glad You're my Valentine!"
"We make the Perfect Pear!"
"I'm going Bananas over You!"
and "You're the Apple of my eye!"
Cute, easy, and healthy.

Meaningful Valentine

This is what I gave my to my Husband for Valentine's Day last year.
It may not look like much, but it is definitely one of those gifts that keeps on giving.
Inside this simple little box are 365 things I love about him.
One for every day of the year.
I just printed them off, then cut them up into little strips.
Then, got this simple wooden box to keep them in.
It sits on our dresser just waiting to be opened.
And it gets opened all the time.

Tissue Rosette Heart Wreath

Have you had enough of these tissue rosettes yet? :)
Here's another cute idea using that tissue paper rose idea.
See that cardboard heart in the background?  She just cut one out of a cereal box.
Then, glued all these roses to it.
And attached a ribbon to hang it from.
So cute, right?!
Visit {AliLilly} for the details.
Another great idea from {AliLilly}
Same idea, just fill the interior of the heart instead of making it a wreath.
Very cute.

Rosette Kissing Balls

I am so in love with these little rosettes!!
I can't believe how easy they are to make!
They're just tissue paper!
Roll over one edge, to give the rosettes a poufy feel.
Then roll them up.
And glue them to a styrofoam ball.
{The Idea Room} has all the details.

How to Paint a Straight Line

Another amazing idea from {House of Hepworths}.  This will make painting accent walls so much easier!  The hardest part will be getting that tape straight. :)

Book Bundles

Here's a great decorating idea I saw on {Decor Chick} She used the above picture from Ballard Designs as inspiration for creating some book bundles of her own:
Just rip off covers of old books and tie with twine.
Great decoration inspiration.
Here are some more images.
From Restoration Hardware.  This is probably my favorite one.  Love those metal letters.
This one from Potterybarn.  These things are everywhere!
And here are some in a room.  I love the way they look.  Very light and casual.
Here's another tutorial from {Under the Table and Dreaming}

DIY Vintage Spools

Don't you love the look of vintage spools?  I do.  In fact I've kind of been on the hunt for some to decorate my craft room.  That is, until I found this tutorial.
Using a dowel and a bunch of wooden disks, this gal make some herself.  She sanded and distressed and stained them to make them look antique.  And then she glued the disks to either side of those wooden dowels.
Then, she stamped the ends to give them that vintage feel.  She also drilled holes in so they'd look realistic.  I probably would have done that before staining them.  So the holes would be darker.
And then she wrapped them in natural colored ribbons and strings.
Throw em in a bowl, and no one will know the difference!
I just love the way these look!!
Visit {The Stories of A 2 Z} for all the little details.
