Napkin Snowballs

I just really love these fluffy napkins.
All you do is cut napkins into fourths.
Then, scallop the edges, just with scissors...nothing has to be exact.
Then, you take 4 layers and fold them accordian style.

Tie em with a wire.
Then, connect 2 accordian bundles together.
And then you just fan them out.
And start pulling the layers apart until they look like a ball.
Aren't they so pretty!  Just another take on those party poufs I love so much.  I think they look great as a Winter Decoration.  Don't you!?
Check out {House of Smith's} for all the details.

Ballarina Snowflake Party

I just love this party I saw on {Glorious Treats}
Such a sweet idea for little girls.
Love how the ceiling is decorated.
So cute.
Fun activity for the girls...
Somehow, I don't think they actually decrated THESE cookies. ;)
Oh, ballarinas!!  So cute.

Winter White

White is such a popular decorating color in the summer, but it can also look great and still feel warm and cozy in the winter.
The key is to make sure it's paired with deep colors or cozy creams.
I think dusty purple is a great wintery color and brings a little bit of warmth into this white palette.
Warm greys are also a great substitute and they work well all year long.
Soft golds are a great combo with white as well.
I love this chair.  Another way to make white appear warm is to pair it with warm fabrics like this velvet couch.  Don't you love that mirrored dresser!!?
Another example of pairing white with creams and dark colors.
And more pillows arealways a good thing in the winter.

Don't Forget

I love this gentle reminder of what the real meaning of this holiday is all about.
What a cute pillow from Dayspring.
I may have to copy this one sometime...

My Future Advent Calender

Someday I will have a 25 cubby organizer like this one from Potterybarn.  And during Christmas it will serve as my advent calender.
Isn't it just so pretty!
And don't you love how all the cubbys are numbered!  I do.
And it's plenty useful...I can fill it with all sorts of fun things all year long.
Someday...

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Tables

I just really love the way all these pretty tables from Potterybarn look.
This silver and white display is so pretty!  With the silver pinecones (easy to make with a can of spray paint) and white flowers, and icicle ornaments hanging from bare branches.  So wintery!
I also really love the simplicity of this one.  It's still very homey.  Just a few candles with a green garland surrounding them.  I also love that green garland over the hutch/shelf.  And the pretty whithe wreath!  And the silver bells and leaves tied to the chairs with silver ribbon....oh!
I love how simple this one is.  The decorations haven't dramatically changed here...just the addition of a few "Ho Ho"s to the shelf on the wall.  Those are cute.
I love things on the backs of chairs...these red ribbons with pine cones and pine bows are no exception.
Here's a lovely from Martha Stewart.  I really like the candles on every plate.  And that centerpiece is gorgeous!  Loving white flowers this Christmas!!
Speaking of white flowers...  This garland is so pretty!  And I'm a sucker for pears on place settings!
Happy Decorating to you!

and Merry Christmas!

Santa's Key

I love this idea for those homes without a chimney...
There are a lot of different poems out there to go along with a key for santa.
Here are a few more at {The Idea Door}

Gingerbread Wreath

I saw this picture and that wreath just made my mouth water.  I might try and make one of these...maybe out of clay, instead of gingerbread...but it looks so good, doesn't it!?

Merry Christmas!

Pretty Stockings

I love how the stocking stuffers are all wrapped and color coordinated in these pretty stockings.
Such pretty stockings!!  And such pretty pretty surroundings!!  I am seriously in love with those glitter candles.  Also crushing on that boxwood swag behind the stockings.  So pretty!
Just really cute.  Love those little presents and picture frames holding the stockings up.
And I really like this refreshing green and white set up.  I love how all these stocking stuffers are color coordinated as well, and in lime green!  So cute!!  It's kind of a better fit for those warmer climates during this time of year.

Merry Christmas!

Pretty Presents

Someday I would like a pretty little place to wrap some pretty little presents.
This craft room would do.  Who am I kidding.  This is my dream room!  And I love that there's a Christmas wreath in there!  Love it!
Here's another craft space...with another Christmas wreath and Christmas tree...someday I also want every room in my house to be festive.
Ahh.  Here's another one!  Suge a pretty creative space.  I would have no problem getting inspired in this space!!  Someday...
And then I can wrap pretty presents like these!!!
Isn't that silver wrapping paper gorgeous!!  I love these presents to death!
Loving these pretty presents, too.  And how the bows are adorned with berries.  Very festive!
These natural packages are also gorgeous!  I love that neutral color palette for gift packages!!
And last but not least, I seriously LOVE the way this present looks all wrapped up and pretty!  The sheet music makes such a pretty wrapping paper, don't you think?!  They should make music wrapping paper!!  And the jingle bells add something super special!
What a fun way to wrap a present!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Carnations

I'm not a big fan of carnations when they're alone, but for some reason, when many of them are bunched together in an arrangement, I just love it.
What a pretty Christmas wreath they make!!

Merry Christmas!
