Fun Thanksgiving Treats

Look at the fun things you can make using these yummies.
Use frosting to stick candy corns into an oreo.
Stick that oreo to another oreo as shown in this picture.
Cut a bit of a tiny reeses off.
Frost it to the 2nd oreo.  Frost a whopper in front of it.
Then, decorate a face and feet on the turkey...ya, this is the hard part.
And these are just chocolate dipped marshmallows frosted to fudge cookies.  All seen on {Our Best Bites}

Kid Friendly Thanksgiving Crafts

Loving these cute little Thanksgiving crafts.
Find the tutorial for that paper bag turkey at {One Charming Party}.  It's filled with popcorn!

The rest of these are from {Fiskars
Cute little drumstick!
Thankful tree...write what you're thankful for on these leaves, then stick them to the tree.
A little plateside turkey.
And I love that little cup that looks like one of the pilgram's ships.  So cute!  And so simple!

Light Thanksgiving

Loving this light Thanksgiving Table I saw on {DustyLu
Isn't it gorgeous!!  I love how light everything feels.  Not your ordinary dark Thanksgiving colors.  She just used light colored pumpkins, and corn husks, with light dinnerware and mixed in those dark browns.
Pretty little place setting.
Ahhh.  So gorgeous, right!?

Book of Thanks

I saw this idea on {eighteen25} and I totally want to copy it.
Her family has a Book of Thanks.
Every Thanksgiving, they each write what they're thankful for inside.
Great way to help everyone remember what the holiday's actually about.
I love this idea!!

Autumn Leaf Cookies

Here's a fun idea I saw on {Country Living}
Just split up cookie dough into four sections and color each section a different fall hue.  Randomly piece them back together and roll flat.  Then, cut out leaf shaped cookies.
Aren't they gorgeous!!?  I love the way they look! Especially with the vein detail carved in.
If you want to get really fancy, you can make an edible cookie wreath by attaching them to a cardboard circle, using frosting.
Ta-Da!  Very cute!!

Isn't this pretty!?  I love pears at place settings.  And the gold and green is so gorgeous!
Love this toned down gold as well...and that metallic pear is so pretty!  I also really love the leaves underneat that clear plate.  So pretty!
White pumpkins are all the rage right now...very cute.
Just loving the elegance of this one.  So rich.

Simple Fall Wreath

I just really love this simple fall wreath from Potterybarn.  So many ways to use a wreath like this.
On the door, as a centerpiece, on the wall...
It looks good everywhere.
And it's looking fairly easy to duplicate to me. :)  I may have to use this one as inspiration to make my own version.

Pinecones

Oh the things you can do with these cute little pinecones.
Glue them onto a frame...
Isn't that so cute!?
And with what's left over, glue them to a ball...
And you've got yourself some great accessories for both Fall AND Winter.

Fall Florals

I just really love this beautiful Autumn display from last year's Potterybarn catalogue.
Proving, that you can have flowers to go with the Fall season.  Aren't those deep colors so gorgeous!!?  And I love how they're paired with the bare branches.
So pretty!

Sugar and Spice Pumpkins

Here's a nice way to pretty up those Halloween pumpkins.
Cover them with glue, sprinkle them with sugary glitter.
Don't they look like they're covered in stardust?
So pretty and elegant.
Perfect for Thanksgiving.
See {A Field Journal} for all the details.

Maternity Band

My absolute favorite thing (besides TUMS :) when I was pregnant was a maternity band just like this:
It may look like a cami or undershirt, but it's really just a band that goes from the top of your legs up to your belly button.
I loved it because it allowed me to wear my regular jeans and pants my entire pregnancy.  I hated Maternity pants, so this was my life savor!  You just unbutton and unzip the pants and this band helps them stay in place.  It really works.  I bought mine for $15 at Maternity and didn't want to spend more money, so I only got one.  It barely made it through my entire pregnancy.  But, it did, and it was a life savor!
But, now, thanks to the gal at {Make It & Love It} I will be able to make my own!  And she says it only cost her about $1 per band!!  I cannot tell you how excited I am about this tutorial!!  Check it out!  You will love it, I promise!
