I thought this was a cool idea. 

This party was created using Baby Einstein as inspiration. 

With lots of fun patterns and colors. 

All things bright 

And all things happy. 

This would be great for a 1-year-old. 

So many things to look at. 

Love all the smiley faces.

Light Fall

Sometimes the deep colors of fall don't work well with the rest of your decorations....  That's ok.

  You can still get that autumn look without all the oranges and reds.  Stick to creams, yellows, and maybe even a few greens. 

Pretty.

Kitchen Design Consultation

Recently, a client came to me with this kitchen. 

 I know, it's beautiful, isn't it??!!!  She just renovated it but wanted some help decorating.

Some wine inspired accessories, a black shelf full of pottery, copper, and baskets....

A more substantial backsplash behind the stove, a few finials, and more swag curtains...

Some items on the coutner, and shelves filled with tuscan/kitchen inspired items.  It was a lot of fun.

Boo Blocks

Love this simple, cute Halloween decoration I saw on {Crafting Chicks}

Just use all these supplies.... 

Cut out and make the letters using paper. 

Paint the block edges black. 

"Put them together, and what have you got!?  Bippity Boppity Boo!"

Arts & Crafts

Something about this style of architecture just speaks to me.  I love how the white trim stands out so boldly against the darker siding.  I love the windows.  I love the pillars and the use of stone.  I love the entire look.  I just love this American Arts and Crafts style.

Love how she autumned up this space.  Twine around the lamp shade, leaves and pinecones hanging on the lamp shade.  Love that leaf-filled shadow box.

Her autumn colored books are a nice touch, especially topped with pumpkins, leaves and pinecones.

So cute!  Now go decorate!!

Chalkboard Pumpkins

Supplies: pumpkins - fake or real - and chalkboard spray paint.

Just paint them.

Love the way the light acts on the chalkboard black.

Pale Fall Decorations

So many times I have wished books I owned were a different color.

I just never thought of spray painting them.
