Sweater Pumpkins

Great idea for some old sweaters...
Turn em into pumpkins.
{Small Fry & Co.} has both a sewing and a no sew version of how to make these!

Fall Cutie Pie

I'm just kind of in love with this.
Learn how to make this cute shirt at {Sewing in No Mans Land
and the adorable belt at {I Am Momma}
She just looks so cute!  I think it would be adorable on an adult as well.  Also, it's the perfect way to dress for fall in a not so cool climate.  Love it!

Vintage Halloween Wreath

I saw this vintage, square, Halloween frame recently, and thought it was super cute!
Supplies
She made the frame by cutting up pages of an old book with a cute paper cutter, then folding them around the tip of a marker, and attaching them to the frame...which she painted black.
It looks cute alone, doesn't it?  I great decoration for all year.
Supplies for the Halloween emblem in the middle.
She just tore up pages and glued them to a circle, then glued the witch picture on top.

Then, pleated crepe paper around the edge to give it some definition.
And added a "Happy Halloween".
Hung it from the frame with ribbon...
And there you have it.  Super cute Halloween wreath.
Check out {Crafting Chicks} for all the details.

Halloween Party

Just a few fun things from Kara's Party Ideas.
Love these witch hats.  Just chocolate covered sugar cones filled with m&m's and frosted to chocolate cookies.  Very cute.
Also, I love this party bag idea!!  Just cut strips down paper lunch bags, then fill them and put a stick in them, and tie all the strips around the stick with a piece of string.  So cute!  It would be really cute, if that stick was stuck into a caramel apple inside the bag. :)

Just really love all these pumpkins and candles running up the stairs.  And those stick frames are so cute, too!

Amazing Entryway Transformation

Just saw this on {320*Sycamore} and had to share it!
She has a very narrow back entry to her house, that she says always seemed to look like this.  But, it seems to small to do anything with it right?

Wrong!
Look what she did!!!  Painted the walls a gorgeous shade of blue, and replaced the light with a cute little lantern!
Added a skinny little bench, with storage underneath.
And a cute little shelf with numbered hooks and storage on top.
It's beautiful!!  See, even skinny rooms can be beautified!  Check out all the details at {320*Sycamore}

Pumpkin Art

Using these three items, a knife and a glue gun, the girls at {eighteen25} made the cutest decoration ever!!
All you do is cut the pumpkin in half behind the stem, glue the paper to the frame, and glue the pumpkin to the paper.
I just really love this.  You could do it with anything, too...

Baby Einstein Party

I thought this was a cool idea.
This party was created using Baby Einstein as inspiration.
With lots of fun patterns and colors.
All things bright
And all things happy.
This would be great for a 1-year-old.
So many things to look at.
Love all the smiley faces.
And balloons.
Great idea from {Kara's Party Ideas}

Light Fall

Sometimes the deep colors of fall don't work well with the rest of your decorations....  That's ok.
You can still get that autumn look without all the oranges and reds.  Stick to creams, yellows, and maybe even a few greens.
Pretty.

Kitchen Design Consultation

Recently, a client came to me with this kitchen.
I know, it's beautiful, isn't it??!!!  She just renovated it but wanted some help decorating.
Here's what we did:

Before:

My Design Plan:
I decided to give this kitchen some Tuscan accents including sage swag curtains, wrought iron accents...

Before:

My Design Plan:
Some wine inspired accessories, a black shelf full of pottery, copper, and baskets....

Before:

My Design Plan:
A wine bar, with a matching basket shelf, complete with tuscan pottery and accents....

Before:

My Design Plan:
A more substantial backsplash behind the stove, a few finials, and more swag curtains...

Before:

My Design Plan:
Some items on the coutner, and shelves filled with tuscan/kitchen inspired items.  It was a lot of fun.
