Glass Etching

Here's another tutorial from {pen n paper flowers}.  I told you I was obsessed with this party!
So, she etched those bottles for the guests all by herself using these stickers,
And a cute little hole puncher like this or a round one.  She did all kinds. :)
Stick the sticker on and glue the paper frame around it.
Then, using etching cream, she painted the area she wanted etched.
Let it sit for a while.
Ta-Da!  Lovely little personal gift.  Check out the link above for more detailed instructions.

Ribbon Backdrop

I recently saw this party on {Sweet Designs} and it kind of goes along the same style as the Lemonade and Sunshine party I can't get enough of.
Super easy backdrop.  Just vintage ribbons and fabric draped over a pvc pipe.  Get the instructions {here}

Lemonade and Sunshine Party

I am SO IN LOVE with this party from {Pen n' Paper Flowers}!  Seriously, I'm a little obsessed!  I love everything about it!!  I love looking at pretty, perfect looking parties, but this one looks like one I could actually do.  I love how it's homemade looking but still SO adorable!!
From the cans filled with flowers lining the fences...
To the old looking furniture...
I mean, how adorable does this bookshelf look out there!??  I love how she has the food set on it.  Everything looks so cute.
Love that she put a few things inside the door, too.  And more cans filled with flowers.  Love it.
Love the use of crates and jars and buckets and bottles!!
I mean, so cute, right!?
And this old bench goes so well.  I really like how she mixed flowers in with the food everywhere.
And how the food is just sitting on the furniture.  No food table at this party, but I think it looks even cuter!  How pretty is that big jug of pink lemonade!?
Love that she decorated with lemons.  I mean, that was the theme...so cute.
What a cute idea to hang bottles from the trees!  It sort of dresses up the space - especially with the ribbons around them.  She put ribbons...well, just fabric strips, I guess...around everything.
Love how the birthday girl chairs have a flower pail on the back of them.
Love the cute and natural looking centerpiece.
I mean, what a fun little table!!
Don't those cupcakes look good!!?  So, easy to.  She didn't even use a frosting tip...and just decorated them with matching candies.
This might be my favorite part.  This is icecream in these little jars!!!
And of course this cake looks divine!!  I like how it's decorated with flowers on the side.  So simple, yet so pretty.
Yummy looking cookies.
What a cute way to display lollipops!
And each guest got to take home one of these very cute pails.
Look at all that good stuff!!
Plus, a little jar of lemon drops.  Go {here} for the recipies she used.  She says the cake was TO DIE FOR.  Can it be true??  A cake that tastes as good as it looks??  Check it out.

Textured Pillows

I really love textured pillows these days.
They bring a whole new feel into the room.
Don't you just want to reach out and touch them?
I do.
I might try and make a few...

Fabric Inspired Party

Loving this fabric inspired wedding done by {Elizabeth Anne Designs}
Cute way to display escort cards.
Just look at how pretty this food table looks!!
So fresh and summery!
With a cute little homemade garland. :)
And a beautiful cake.
LOVE this idea of hanging pictures from the trees above to give the table almost a backdrop.
Everyone likes to see pictures, right?
Beautiful table, too.
Love the simple, yet stunning center pieces and table runner.
Cute little pinwheels for all the guests.
The best part about this wedding is that she gave us the how-to's in a post {here}.  You, too, can have a party this pretty. :)

Button Lamp

Here's another great lamp shade decorating idea.  Just little ribbons and buttons.  You could do this with any color and I think all you'd have to do is glue them on.  But, make sure you use something strong, just so they don't melt off... To see more lamp shade ideas, click {here}

Perfect Pantry

The pantry is hardly ever a nice, clean organized space, but when it is...it's magnificent, isn't it?
So, how do you get that perfect pantry?  Aside from making sure your space is big enough - which it rarely seems to be - there are a few things you can do.
Oranize things in similar containers.  Your pantry can be organized, but it won't look 'magnificent' until the containers match each other.
Everything doesn't have to match, but make sure similar containers are grouped together.
I like the idea of having baskets near the ground to serve as a "catch-all" for things that either don't fit on the shelves, or just don't sit well on shelves.
Allow there to be space inbetween items.  When you can see space, things don't feel quite as crammed.
I like how there's a sitting area on this one. haha.  Does anyone ever want to sit in their pantry??  I'm pretty sure this is just part of the kitchen.  But, I like how they've created a pantry using shelves and cabinets.  It's nice that their cabinet doors have a curtain on the inside, so they look better when viewed from the kitchen.
