Christmas Place Setting
I love the simplicity of this place setting. That jingle bell around the napkin is so cute! And the pinecone holding the place card is adorable as well. Together, with the gold charger they just look so elegant.Merry Christmas!

Stockings For All
Just a few great images from PB where stockings shine no matter what the style is.
Cozy Cabin: Love how they used different sizes here. And those wood candles are so cute - especially mixed with the berries on top of that mantle.
Chic Woods: It's very wintery with the white stockings as well as the snow behind that garland that looks like they just pulled it fresh out of the wood. Woodsy can still be chic!
Merry and Bright: I LOVE those shimmer candles and the different heights and colors of the candles and candlesticks make such a statement on top of that mantle! I like the garland swagging behind those stockings, too.
Home Sweet Home: This one most reminds me of home. Probably because we had about that many stockings... I really like that garland running behind the picture frame stocking hangers. Such a cute, idea!
Modern Twist: For those without a fireplace, we ALWAYS hung our stockings on the stairs...even when we had a fireplace. I think it looks really cute. I also love the starburst lanterns in this entry way, and the use or more neutral colors. It's a more subtle Christmas palet. For people who don't like pine needles, here is a great alternative: use a boxwood garland. Those square boxwood "wreaths" are pretty cool, too.
Modern Classic: Hung by the fire place as usual, but the mantle is topped with lime green Christmas accents. I love the shimmery lime berries and those little Christmas trees up there are so cute!
Cool and Collected: To me, this mantle looks less winterized than the other ones. For those who live in a warmer climate, take notes. It's still Christmas-ish, but without all the cold weather accessories...because those would seem weird if it's still in the 80's and above outside.
Homespun: Another idea for the home without a fireplace - hang those stockings on a coat rack. They look pretty cute here mixed in with those tiny wreaths. Cute.
Traditional: Another shot of hanging the stockings from the stairs. I know it's not practical, but I love the presents and candles lining the stairs. And the little wreaths hung in random spots on the walls are pretty cute, too. Don't those pillows look cozy!?
Traditional Elegance: The picture from all the storybooks. Stockings hung from a mantle covered in pine bows. I do love the lanterns up there as well. And aren't these chairs so inviting!!?

Chic Christmas Party
May all your Christmas parties look like this one.
It's seriously just stunning, isn't it?!! I mean, it is Potterybarn, so you would expect it to be great, but they totally outdid themselves here. I think this would even make a great wedding reception. Click on the pictures for an even larger veiw.
To start, I love the large stars and ornaments hanging from the ceiling. You can buy them at their store, but they're just made of paper...so if anyone knows how to make these, please tell me. Those green patterned table clothes are pretty, aren't they?? And I like their use of chair covers - only every other chair gets one. Great way to save money if you ask me - because the whole picture still looks really dressed up. I guess all the chairs are nice, though.
Those little paper hearts hanging off the back of the chairs are really cute, too.
I love how it's totally Christmas-themed, but not all out red and green. But, those colors are still there...just a taste of them. :) The bark vases on the tables are amazing. They sell those, too, but maybe you could just go chop down an aspen tree...haha. :) I have actually seen that bark just sold in rolls, though, so perhaps you could make your own. Love those bright white flowers - very perfect for winter, and they go so well with the fake snow in the center of all the tables. I also love how there's ornaments and little votive candles sitting in the snow.

Gingerbread Houses
When I was little, we always made "Gingerbread Houses" but never used gingerbread. I've never tried to make gingerbread, but I think my mom did that because it was a lot easier! :) Just use one cracker for each wall of the house and then two for the roof. You have to cut them down a little bit, but look how cute it can look:
Don't you love those red roof tiles!! Haha. And that mailbox is amazing. I also love that snowman in the back. What a cute idea to set them up on a bed of coconut to look like snow.
The tiles on this one are pretty cute, too. But those wreaths on the doors are the cutest part of these!
Aw, look at the little lamp posts! I love how all these houses are color coordinated. Maybe you could have each child choose a color for their house. So fun! But don't dream of them looking this good!
I especially love the firewood outside the front door. So cute!! And what a great idea to use those cones as trees.
This one is pretty creative, too. They've also got some firewood, but I like how they used those pretzels to make the house look more like a cottage! Oh, these are so cute. All of these images are courtesy of {Simply Seleta}.

Brown Paper Packages...
...tied up with strings. These are a few of my favorite things. I love pretty presents! Potterybarn has so many stunning wrapping jobs!! :)

I love the twine around some of them! So cute!
I like the idea of having a present garland like this.
Once upon a time, I found a picture with a present garland sitting above where the stockings were hung. It was so cute, and I'm so sad I don't know where I saw it. But, cute idea, anyway.
And of course we can't forget this beauty from {Joran Ferney}. Isn't a present advent calendar such a great idea! And so pretty!!?
And why not put presents all over the house.
Like these on either side of the bed?
Love it. And here's a present garland living this bedroom. So cute!
I like how these presents are adorning this bookshelf.
Merry Christmas!

LOVE the berries tied into the bows.

Christmas Votives
Just a few simple, yet stunning ideas to dress up your table.
Line some votives with lemon leaves - just use double sided tape or glue - and then tie a bow around them! Isn't that pretty!?
Same idea, just use cinnamon sticks instead. I love the way these look. And they both probably smell really good. :)

Candyland
I love the way this looks. So fun and festive. I think it'd be a great centerpiece for a party or a great treat table, for that matter. Way to go, Martha!

Christmas Up Your Entry
Love this spread from Potterybarn!
Those old fashioned sleds are so fun! And I love all the lanterns lining these steps. The votives are really cute, too, but let's be practical...they'd get broken...maybe even stepped on. Silly Potterybarn.
The giant red bucket/planter filled with firewood and pine bows is really a nice touch. And I love the garland and all the ornaments hanging on it. The bows on all the lanterns and on the corners of the garland sure are cute!
The hanging lantern and porch lights are so cute, too. Those would be good all year, but they add a nice touch mixed with all the other lanterns lining the steps. And that rocking chair with presents sitting in it...so cute! I love the wreath, too. What is Christmas without a wreath on the door? This just looks so inviting. I love it!

I love it!And here's another entry from Potterybarn that caught my eye:
Love how low the wreath is hung on that red door! It's so cute! I think wreaths are often hung toooo high. This one has those lanterns, too, although they are a little different... It's so cute. I love the lanterns! But this porch is also lined with Christmas trees...well, little pine trees, but they decorated them like Christmas trees. Just a few ornaments and lots of lights. I especially like that little tree planted in the urn. Cute.
And once again, so inviting! Those windows are amazing! I love the transom above the door. And the garland just enhances the beauty of this entry because it frames it so well. I really like that they strung it above that transom. Another thing I love about both of these entryways is that you can see the Christmas Tree through the windows. That just makes me want to go inside even more. :)

My Sweater Refashion
Recently, I bought this sweater at Old Navy. I got it in grey, though, and for some reason, I can't find it pictured in that color. It's cute, but I wanted to change a few things about it.It was really easy. I just hand sewed them to felt fabric in a spiral pattern starting in the middle and working out. Then, I hot glued another piece of felt on top of the stitched felt and sewed on a pin.
I think I might make a ton of other pins just like this with other fabric and ribbons...They would be cute gifts, too, don't you think?
Merry Christmas!

I'm loving these mocha tones, too.
Especially when they're shiny!
