Tennis Guy Gift

For Grandpa this year, we made a little Tennis Guy.  He's great for holding all kinds of stuff in his mouth like
Chapstick

Pens

Shavers

Washcloths

Toothbrushes

And keys...with funny faces...

But it's mostly just good at sitting somewhere, looking at you, and reminding you of your grandson.

Merry Christmas, Bonka!

Father's Day Cards

This word card is just a good idea starter.  This would be an easy card to make and personalize, but you can also buy it at {Doodlelove Etsy
And I just thought this was a cute idea because, this is definitely true for my boys.

Father's Day Wreath

I LOVE this idea from {Be Different Act Normal}!!  What a cute idea for Father's Day!  We don't have enough decorations for that holiday!  But I also think this is a great way to use all those old ties dad may not want to part with.  Super cute.

Mother's Day Interview

Love this idea from {Pepper&Buttons}.  I think I'll video tape my kids' answers to these questions every Mother's Day.

Antique Sports Equipment

I love the way these look!  Good old Potterybarn.  Seems like they might be easy to duplicate with some old sports equipment and a deep stain.  I'd like to try sometime.  This is the kind of thing I'd like to decorate my "playroom" someday.  I love the way it looks!  There might be a few Dad's out there who'd like something like this as a Father's Day gift, also. ;)

Father's Day Banners

You can find these as a free printable at {Shindig Parties}, but you could also make one that would last year after year using fabric.  Cute idea!

Words for Father's Day

I thought this was kind of a cute idea for a homemade Father's Day gift.  I think it's something a man could display proudly, too.  Not too kiddish, not too sentimental, not too embarassing, but still kind of meaningful.  Especially if it was made by their child.

I Love You Books

Here's another great ide from {The Creative Homemaker} using these tiny books you can find just about anywhere...new or used.
She covered the outside using modpodge and fabric.
Then, cut paper to fit the book pages.
And modpodged or double stick taped them in.
Then she added numbers to every page, and gave each number a reason she loved the recipient.
I think it's a really cute gift for children from their parents.
Love the way she labeled them, too!  So cute!
And since Father's Day is rolling around, this might be a fun craft project for the kiddos to make for their Daddy, as well!

Chocolate Love Notes

Here's a cute idea from {The Mother Huddle}
She made the bag and cut strips of paper which she wrote love notes for her husband on.  Then, wrapped them around chocolates.  Easy, and meaningful.

Father's Day Ideas

One of my favorite ideas for Father's Day is this {tie} I posted about last year.  Such a fun idea for a Daddy.

Here are some other ideas I've found:

Love this nut frame idea from {Kaboose}  So cute, right?  And something the kids could make.

Father's Day is great for grilling.  This is all my husband wants every year!  What a great looking meal!!

How about these {Mower Cupcakes} so cute, huh!!?

I love this day set aside to celebrate how wonderful Fathers can be.  What would the world be like without them!  Happy Father's Day!!

Tie

The Purl Bee just posted a tutorial for a {Father's Day Tie} and I love the idea. You could make it look however you want! What a great project.

They Also have a tutorial for a {Little Boys Tie}. Would a tie that matched their Dad's tie make them want to wear it?? How cute.

Thanks again, Purl Bee!
