DIY Number Pillows

Many of you know I love {this creative use of painters drop cloths}.  Now, here's another great use for them:
After seeing these number pillows from Potterybarn,
{A Bowl Full of Lemons} decided to use drop cloths and make her own!
Aren't they cute!?  Check out the link above for the how-to.

Chicken Wire Vase Frames

This may sound like a really weird title, but what you're about to see is oh so cute!!
It's gotta be one of the cutest Spring decorations I've ever seen!
Starting out with the supplies above,
First, she painted and distressed the frames.
Then, using twine, she hung vases from the tops of the frames.
I mean, it's adorable!
Even without the chicken wire.
But, to make it even cuter, she hung the frames from a larger frame/old door with chicken wire in the middle of it.
Giving her a row of framed vases, backed by chicken wire.
I just love everything about the way this looks!!!  Visit {Flamingo Toes} for all the details on this awesome project.

DIY Potterybarn Mirror

I have long been a fan of this Eagan Mirror from Potterybarn.  I think it looks so polished and adds alot to any room.
Lucky for me, {The Lettered Cottage} has a tutorial for making this baby all by yourself.

Easter Party

As I looked through these pictures,
I not only saw a GREAT party,
I saw some great Easter decoration ideas!!
Loving the use of wheat grass, which I hear is super easy to grow - although now is probably too late to start.  I think this would be a fun project to get you feeling like Spring way before the Spring weather starts to hit.  Wouldn't the kids love growing some wheat grass!?
And doesn't it look so cute with things sticking out of it!!?
Love the ribbon around the grass dish.
The umbrellas are super cute, too.
And I love a good topiary.
Isn't this fun!?
I especially love the way these toffies look in those apothecary jars.

Silhouette Necklace

Isn't this the cutest!!!?
You can make your own with these supplies.
At least, {My Sweet Savannah} did.  Check out her {tutorial}.
Wouldn't this make a sweet Mother's Day gift??  It would also be cute as a charm bracelet.
I really love it.

Creative Kitchen Cabinets

Look at the transformation here.  It never ceases to amaze me how people transform their builder's grade cabinets into things of beauty!!
Miss Creative Crate just added beadboard to the center of her cabinets,
Then painted them.
She also stuck some crown molding on the tops, to dress them up.  And notice how she painted that wood edge black!!?  I LOVE the way that looks!!  So much better than the wood.  What a great idea!
And, of course, they went for new hardware.
I just think it looks so great!!!
Almost like it's a whole different space.
What a beautiful kitchen!!
Check out {The Creative Crate} for all the details.

Chicken Wire Basket

I love chicken wire - ESPECIALLY in the Spring.  It's so springy, right?
That's why I love this project!!
Supplies - an old lamp shade minus the shade, chicken wire, and paint
She used the lamp shade as a pattern for cutting out each side individually, using wire cutters.
Then, she used pliers to attach the wire to the frame and make sure there weren't any poky edges.
She did that around the whole thing, including the bottom.
And then, she painted it.
Isn't that adorable!!?  I love the way it looks filled with those Easter eggs!!!

From Chair to Frame

There are so many things you can do with a pair of junky old chairs.  But, I've never seen anyone do this.
She used the backs,
And created a pair of picture frames.
Gorgeous picture frames.  Isn't that creative!!  Awesome idea!  Visit {All Things Thrifty} for all the details.
